1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?

Went to Costa Rica, also Seattle; was a bridesmaid; officiated a handfasting; declared a major (then switched it); did an art installation at Artists & Models; had Thanksgiving away from home; made a leap of faith; was a municipal liaison for NaNoWriMo; went horseback riding; finished writing and revising etc. a manuscript...

2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

Out of seven resolutions, I went horseback riding, learned to play piano again, and was awesome.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

No, but my cousin is due in February.

4. Did anyone close to you die?

My grandmother passed away in February

5. What countries did you visit?

Canada and Costa Rica

6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?

a job

7. What date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?

May 19th was my brother's wedding

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?

realizing that I had been so god damn wrong, and being happy about it

I had mono. I never thought it would happen to me, who rarely even gets a cold (knock on wood)

my keyboard

Almost all of my friends :)

One of my best friends :(

travel, moving into a new apartment, and eating out at restaurants

Nocturminal, 48 Hour Film Fest, Sarah and Jenn's wedding, Adam and Karen's wedding, Costa Rica, writing, art, and today when I decided to start working on My Books again... !

Okkervil River, "So Come Back, I am Waiting" because it can be interpreted in so many ways

i. happier or sadder? MUCH happier
ii. thinner or fatter? I generally gain about 10-15 pounds each winter and lose it over the spring and summer. This year I think I'm on the higher end ;p
iii. richer or poorer? Poorer. I got laid off this summer

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?

Writing, practicing piano and cello

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?

Angsting, wasting my life over pointless schoolwork, being a stubborn bitch

20. How will you be spending Christmas?

I spent it with my family

yes... it was carried over from 2006, but fully blossomed I think this past Fall =)

Yes, in different ways, partly my fault at least once

Maybe Robot Chicken? I don't watch that much tv

Sarah and Jenn, Adam and Karen

Christian's house

Christian's friends and most of the BWG, and Joseph of course

I think the plan is Hugh's place

I didn't read nearly enough this year... maybe Walking in this World by Julia Cameron

Okkervil River (was introduced to me)

I wanted to be rational and I think I got that. I wanted to move out and lo and behold here I am in my own apartment!

A dog.

Did The Fountain come out this year? The Prestige? Pan's Labyrinth? All 2006 I think. Whatever.

36. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?

I turned 22, but since I had been sick on my 21st and it was lame aside from lasertron, we had a cocktail party and pretended I turned 21 again. Well, that was for my birthday. On my birthday I was in Virginia preparing for Adam's wedding

Brooklyn, Seattle

38. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007?

Classy, comfy, colorful

My friends, meditation, art, events

The ones that weren't assaulting my eyes at the checkout

Iraq, I suppose.

Nope.

Lots of shows, no concerts though

New person? Hmm... a few new people from my video class probably

Oh yes. Some of which I will admit to, and some of which is never to be spoken of again (okay maybe that one is more "embarrassed of")

Be capable of screwing up and forgiving yourself; and anything worth doing is worth doing badly.

Getting published, getting a job, getting an internship, participating in Scrip Frenzy
