What an astounding weekend
Jul. 17th, 2011 11:38 pmI have to say, this weekend probably couldn't have gone much better than it did.
Friday evening Sierra and his wife Cameron flew into Buffalo, and while my parents were out picking them up I was absolutely sick with a weird kind of social anxiety I haven't had since I was a kid-the kind I used to get right before people showed up at my house, even if I was expecting them. Anyway, I was kind of deleriously nervous, sick to my stomach, over-analyzing every bit of my apprehension and thought processes.
And then they arrived. And I gave them both a big hug. And it was just... family.
It's been a long weekend though. I will have to take some time to rest, and write a proper update (not from my phone). But for now I can tell you: its awesome to have 2.5 brothers.
