365? And an update...
Jun. 26th, 2009 07:15 amI don't have a pic for yesterday, but I have a sketch I was working on, I'll have to post it next week though because I'm going to DC until Monday! Just thought I'd give the world an update on my life before I left:
-about 200 fliers out and about for my pet sitting business. I'm still struggling with this weird idea that this is a juvenile pursuit, but that's a little ridiculous because it's a booming "industry." I keep hearing wonderful success stories about people other people know who start their own pet sitting businesses, and they're all adults. So, me next, right?
-re-wrote the beginning of The Hierophant, and I love the way it's turning out. Ana's character is becoming more and more real to me, and thanks to some wonderful advice from Sarah I'm able to listen to her much more clearly, and know how she wants her story to be told.
-Renaissance is going to take some tweaking too, but on the whole it's still a spectacular manuscript. It still fills me with butterflies and sunshine to hold that draft in my hands, knowing that I finally wrote what I'd put off for over a decade for fear of doing it an injustice... and I did it so well!
-AND The Poppet and the Lune is still coming along smoothly, although is on a temporary Tues. Thurs. update schedule while I'm traveling.
