i dont know much about selling things but this is so true for when i have to give presentations.
know as much as you can about your topic--what you are selling. if you are passionate about it, people will see this and be attracted to it. it's just like something a friend says, 'you have to check out this amazing band, they changed my life; this movie is ridiculous, you need to see it' the same sort of thing holds true. people skills are a plus and i think you have that, and incorporating some humor is always great as well. those are about the only tips i can give i think.
