lathrielYou guys. I want to show you what the cover artist has been sending me as she nears the end of the process (it's an etching! AN ETCHING!!! :D), but I won't. Because I am selfish, and I want to WOW you with the final product. But I will show you the original sketch that made me decide to chose the artist.
It's just a rough sketch, but guys... GUYS! The two prints she's shown me so far are AMAZING.
In related news, since I'm taking down the text for TPaL at the end of Deciembre, I think I'm going to use that wordpress account as my author's blog, and begin to journal the process of publication there. I'll probably cross post things of any real importance here.
Also, I had a conversation with Jared yesterday about mp3s and ebooks and all kinds of indie art/artisan movements that really makes me feel like the little guy is taking his power back, while at the same time empowering the consumers. I'll have to write more about it later, but it's got me excited for my prospects as a self-publisher. :)
And tonight: Solstice Ritual!! :D
