i had a... moment?... not a dream
the other night
i was asleep in bed and scott started talking to me
clearly, audibly, in a very real and lucid voice
he said something along the lines of "i don't understand why we keep going when all of life is simply doing what you're told to do"
and when i looked up to say "what are you talking about"
he was fast asleep

i had a dream a week ago
one of those quick and deep dreams during the snooze between the alarms
no images no voices
just one fact
my deceased grandfather has changed his day to august 14th
don't know what kind of day
his day

i had a dream
a typical one at that
that i was driving and suddenly had to stop
brakes failed
swerve to avoid the car before me
into the next lane and... what?

i had a dream once
about a crack appearing suddenly in my windshield, just below the rear view mirror
while driving a car whose interior was unfamiliar
then phil got into an accident
when we saw the car, guess where the crack was

i had a dream once
that i was living in an apartment with marshall
and i was sitting in the living room
and he came home one night and said:
"weirdest thing happened today. my dad bought me a carton of cigarettes."
6 months later guess who i was living with and what happened

i'm... flustered.
