headlights crest the hill
Jan. 20th, 2005 12:51 pmwhy must it take such severe determination to achieve a goal? isn't it something we really really want? then why do we keep letting ourselves not reach it?
HUH?
and the beat goes on.
Here, belatedly, and finally, are my New Year's Resolutions:
1.) To quit smoking. Yes, the finest cliche, the one that got me into the mess I'm currently in, since I started smoking so that the next NYR could be to quit.
2.) To write everyday for a minimum of 30 minutes. Not for my books, just writing. practice writing. No editing or revising.
3.) To use my expensive program that cost me a lot of hard earned cash and practice Greek at least five days a week. Once fluent, proceed immediately to Athens, Greece.
4.) To live a healthy and intelligent lifestyle
5.) To practice my "religion" more frequently
6.) To travel as often as time and money will permit it
and finally, 7.) To be totally awesome in all areas of life, save when I suck
now, time to go do things
