Oct. 2nd, 2005 12:15 pmthough absences and distance
surrendered her to pain;
and penetrating lonliness
had her begging to be sane;
judgment days
and victorian ways
castrated youthful vive;
her subtle mind-
her grasp of time-
has not given her to grieve;
"Alone!", she cries, she stands alone
She simply knows not what for;
recoiling from the touch of Grace
in search of something More.
One foot is planted in the earth;
one hand is stretched towards mortal banes;
In essence she reaches for the peace of Heaven;
In effect she must Remain.
