A sign... for what?

I was looking at the wikipedia entry for Lloyd Alexander (author of the Prydain Chronicles I've been talking so much about) and discovered two strange details about his life that could potentially be some kind of sign to me: first, that he died on my birthday last year; second, that his daughter's name was Madeline (and even spelled the same as mine!).

Is that weird, or have I simply begun to see signs where there are none?

I don't know. All that, and my discovery of Mrs. Gauger's passing (she introduced me to his work)... all in the same week. I don't believe in coincidence, so I suppose there must be something going on.

Its certainly odd, but coincidences are also statistically inevitable. I don't know whether its ever possible to tell the difference between actual signs and apophenia. But then again, these observations are also coming from a guy who believes that this universe is inherently quite meaningless, so make of it what you will, I suppose?

That it happened in a three makes it seem not coincidental to me. I think it's wonderfully hopeful. And a sign to "keep going!!!!!!" You're almost there!

I finished the series last night too and I was all ;.; not just cause it was so good but sad because it was over. That's the type of reaction I want my fans to have XD
