So this is completely off topic... I am still thinking about moving up to Buffalo. Toronto just doesn't look like it is going to happen anytime soon. I need to work on my BA again so I am applying at Buffalo State and University of Buffalo. Depending on how everything goes I might move during the spring or early summer. Any thoughts? Best places to live? Is there a Panera there haha?

What kind of neighborhoods do you like? City, suburban, ultra suburban? Yes there are Panera's all over, though I'm sure you can find better local cafes!

City... Think arty, lots of cafes and bookshops. Well, I only ask about Panera because I can transfer from my store here in Maryland up to one there. That way I can avoid the whole being unemployed while looking for better work.

Well Allentown (anything near Allen St.) and the Elmwood Village are both good, although Allen is where all the artsy-trendy bars are so weekends would rarely been quiet. I lived in the Elmwood Village for a year and it's very nice, lots to do and it has a great sense of community, but it's not technically "city," it's just really close to it. Apartments can get kind of expensive there, but there are some deals too. I don't know much about actually living in the city, it's pretty deserted whenever I'm down there. The closest Panera's from either place is about 15-20 minutes driving.
