I'm always saddened to hear of any suicide. Any pain of the mind or body that drives one to overcome the basic survival instinct must have been a heavy load. A lot of artists feel the pain of the world too easily, I think, and they don't all have the support and strength that we have been lucky enough to find in our lovers and friends. And to lose that window into the creative universe due to such a violent end is a tragedy.
