Do you have a magickal name, If so what does it mean?
I do, but I rarely use it. I feel names are unnecessary in my practice.
How did you find Wicca/Paganism?
When I was in 7th grade, all my Jewish friends were beginning to prepare for or have their Bat Mitzvahs. I hadn't been raised with a religion, so I felt left out. Lucky for me, my parents are crazy spirituality explorers (that's the best way to describe them, honestly) so I had their support/library in researching to make my own religion. I came across witchcraft on the internet, and thought it was The Truth. I still think it is, though a lot of people have gotten it all dressed up and gimmicky.
How long have you been practicing?
Since I was 13, so... 12 years!
Solitary or group practitioner?
Mostly solitaire, as our spiritual growth is, ultimately, something we go through alone, but I do love doing rituals with close friends, and the occasional huge group.
What is your path?
I do not CONFINE myself to a path! Lol. I don't have an official name for what I do, but I guess we can call it "Creativity Worshipping Life Expander" in the sense that I think creativity is proof of god, and it's my goal to do and see and be as much as possible in this life (as making use of what we're given is the greatest way to show gratitude)
Are you out of the broom closet?
Mostly. I don't bother to bring it up to people who I know won't understand, or will try to pigeonhole me.
Who is your patron God?
Ganesh often stops by for a laugh, although Hermes and I have a little something going on on the side...
Who is your patron Goddess?
Artemis has helped me through some very rough terrain. Sarasvati, though, is my more constant in my life.
What Goddesses do you worship?
I worship "source energy" or "god energy" from which I believe we have all come and therefore are. It appears to me as Artemis, Sarasvati, some nameless forms, and oddly enough the virgin mary sometimes...
Do you fear dark aspects in Gods/Goddess, or rather respect them?
I find it interesting. It's probably the greatest tool for spiritual growth, making an effort to understand and embrace those dark aspects.
Do you worship the Christian God?
No
Do you ever worship animals?
I've always loved the idea of kami from Shintoism. In that sense, yes I do worship animals, just as I worship the divinity within myself and others.
Or plants?
Same as animals.
Do you regularly commune with nature?
As much as possible. Nothing is more healing to me than walking barefoot/lying on the grass, or standing in the sea. I am often brought to tears (little ones) when I'm walking in nature and breathing deeply. don't tell anyone though, it will ruin my street cred.
Ever walked barefoot in the woods?
Yes :)
Taken a camping trip just to talk to nature?
Yes! :)
Describe the moment you felt closest to Mother Earth?
Standing in the ocean after a long hard year, at the end of a bad relationship. She stripped me off all my wounds and, more than a tender embrace, she slapped me high-five and told me how awesome I was, and I told her I loved her :)
What is your power animal?
Crow, bull, elephant, phoenix
Do you have a familiar?
My old cat, The Bean, still hangs around sometimes when I'm in need of her

Not really, but I show my affection for them in other ways.
Give them gifts?
Gifts of love!

Thistle... dunno why.
