In a half hour I will be on my way to see One Man Star Wars. Woot! Yay for socializing.
Also, I wrote today! I haven't written in a long time. I've been hating my writing. But, I'm over the self-loathing and onto the self-plutonic-loving. Go me!
Had a good time with Essie this weekend, despite certain things that are un-livejournal-appropriate. This good time included:
-watching a terrible movie that was a racial-stereotype-proliferating rip-off of Meet The Parents but with Bernie Mac and Ashton Kutcher
-sobbing strangers slamming bottles of jack
-Essie, more sober than she's been in years, with a total stranger crying into her stomach
-some Red Hot Chili Peppers was played
-and a fat cat named smokey that I'm going to steal some day

and now, onto even greater events!

oh, didn't know that... well, it might have been good back in the day, but I hate ashton kutcher. um.

From what I understand, the two films are nigh-uncomparable, the earlier one being far superior (especially for its context). I too hate Ashton Kutcher, nothing comes to mind when I try to think of him in a good movie. I mean, "The Butterfly Effect" was pretty lame. And that's as good as it gets.
