I'm dying my hair tonight. Right. It's been a few years, it's time. No permanent dye, though. I'm doing a lasts-through-28-shampoos dye. I'm sick of having roots even though (as previously stated) I haven't dyed my hair in years. True, I did some red henna 2 years ago, but henna is semi-permanent and it's all gone now. Why then is my hair coppery on the bottom and mousey on the top? I don't know. You know what I do know?
I LOVE INSTANT GRATIFICATION!
That's why hair dye is wonderful.
Plus it comes with that super-ultra-deluxe-deep-conditioner.

So, here's the question: do I keep going with shades of dark auburns and coppery reds or do I go for more chocolatey and dark brown colors?
I'm so tempted to go permanent. The selection is just better. But, of course, it also is permanent and means that in 6 weeks I'll have roots again, where as with semi-permanent dye it'll wash out and I'll just have my normal roots.

Oh how I miss the days of manic panic. The scent of bleach in the air. The cursing as dye fell on the tile grout and refused to be lifted. But it wasn't worth the constant "you're hair is [insert unnatural color here]" statements. Idiots.

Oppinions, people! Tell me!
I'm bored with myself and can't make decisions on my own!

UPDATE: I went for "cinnamon stick" medium brown. it's aight. and SUPER conditioned!
