“Did you sleep at all?” I wondered. [...]
“No,” he admitted in a low whisper.
“Aren’t you tired?”
“I wanted to watch you sleep.”
“Hmm. That’s kind of creepy.”
He kissed my forehead. “I’m kind of a creep.”
“Oh. That’s right. I almost forgot.”
